The 2019 State of the Union Address is scheduled to be given by the 45th President of the United States, Donald Trump, on Tuesday, February 5, 2019.

The State of the Union Address (SOTU) is an annual message delivered by the President of the United States to a joint session of the United States Congress at the beginning of each calendar year in office. The message typically includes a budget message and an economic report of the nation, and also allows the President to propose a legislative agenda and national priorities. via Wikipedia
After 35 days, President Trump announced a deal on Jan. 25 to officially end the longest government shutdown in U.S. history.

Minnesota Rep. Ilhan Omar is inviting Linda Clark, an immigrant from Liberia who has lived in the U.S. for almost 2 decades, but faces deportation from the current administration.


Democratic Georgia gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams is slated to deliver the 2019 Democratic Response.
