Practice Accountability

Motivational Minute

“Anyone holding themselves accountable to nobody ought not to be trusted by anybody.”–Thomas Paine

Accountability can greatly benefit those who practice it regularly. Working with trusted partners brings greater success in accomplishing your goals. An accountable person acknowledges that progress often comes less from instant cures and more through a steady journey.

4 Tools To Build Accountability

  • Write Your Goals Down
  • Make Your Goals Specific and Concrete
  • Build Incentives Along The Way
  • Get An Accountability Partner

You must hold yourself accountable for your actions, responsibilities, and goals.  Think about it. Why should it be someone else’s job to make sure you are doing the things that you know you should to be doing?
